Always a highlight, last weekend was London Edge! This trade show showcases the up-coming collections for Spring/Summer from our favourite brands, and is probably one of the coolest trade events ever! As well as loads of lovely collections to ooooh & aaah over, you might catch a fashion show, burlesque act or bump into a latex-covered lady (so getting 'im indoors to come along is never a problem!).
So our picks.... Hell Bunny always deliver the goods and this summer isn't any different! As well as 50's style dresses in quirky prints, there are pretty 40's style tea dresses, rockabilly diner shirts and derby doll mini skirts on the way. Our Facebook followers will also be pleased to hear there are some cute pastel cardi's in there too!
Collectif have lots of new cute blouses, wrap-over and gypsy style tops, as well as some favourite dresses in lovely new prints, like the Violet dress...
Banned Clothing have some quirky playsuits & swimwear for the summer, and Voodoo Vixen had some beautiful handbags as well as super-cute dresses in a ladybird print. Freddies of Pinewood have some up-dated favourites, like their side button jeans now in both a 40's and narrower 50's style cut, and were looking for suggestions on new colours for their capri pants! We tracked down amazing cats eye sunglasses and had a very interesting conversation with Crazy Colour hair dye suppliers... watch this space for more news! Lindy Bop have some lovely floral dresses for the Summer, and Hearts & Roses new collection of 50s style swing dresses are just gorgeous! So lots to look forward to, clear some space in the wardrobe and pray for some sunshine! xoxo
